Originally a small venture with six resilient women, THELU aimed to create more than just cloth bags. It was a mission to empower those often sidelined by society. These women, armed with needles and determination, found a renewed purpose in turning waste into something beautiful.
Our journey caught the eye of My Green Society (MGS), an NGO committed to a greener planet. Recognizing the impact we could make together, MGS took THELU under its wings, turning a small initiative into a thriving enterprise.
Now, THELU is not just about bags; it’s a movement. Ninety skilled women weave around 25,000 Thelu Bags monthly, each one telling a story of sustainability, resilience, and positive change.
